Who We Are
Endorsed by the Wilson Area School Board, The Wilson Area Partners in Education Foundation (WAPEF) is an independent charitable 501(c)(3) organization registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We supplement traditional funding sources for the district and fuel educational initiatives that might not otherwise be available to Wilson Area students.
What We Do
WAPEF partners with local community members and the community-at-large to provide innovative projects, programs and experiences that enhance the educational journeys of students in grades K-12. Together, we pave a road filled with wonder and possibilities for our children and youth.

About the District
The Wilson Area School District has maintained its individuality as an independent, public school district for nearly a century. The students, staff, parents, alumni and community members who form the heart of the district have long enjoyed tremendous pride in the quality of academics, athletics, and extra-curricular programs offered. The Foundation is committed to the enhancement of these programs.
