Innovation Grants

The Foundation’s Innovation Grant Program fuels projects and programs that fall outside of departmental or district budgets. Allocated funds enable educators to bring their creative ideas to life.


Application Process

  • Phase One- Project Brief (7/3/23 – 9/15/23)
    Interested applicants will submit a one-page brief describing the scope, nature and estimated impact of their idea. This could include an innovative project, program, method or experience that will
    enhance the educational journeys of Wilson Area students.
  • Phase Two- Invitation (9/20/23 – 9/29/23)
    The Foundation’s Impact Committee will review the briefs and invite select applicants to complete the full application for funding consideration.
  • Phase Three- Full Application Window (9/30/23 – 10/16/23)
    Invited applicants will provide added detail through one application via a convenient Google Form.
  • Phase Four- Review and Notification (10/25/23)
    The Foundation Board of Directors will review and score the applications utilizing a rubric to make funding decisions. Grant recipients will then be announced. Funding requests ranging from $500 – $4,000 will be considered.
