Virtual Reality Education Initiative

Imagine what it would be like to walk on the moon, explore the inside of a volcano, hold a human heart, or tour the historic streets of Spain—fully immersed in the experience without actually being there.

This is the magic of virtual reality education. In collaboration with the Wilson Area School District, the Foundation is committed to establishing a pilot program that would bring virtual reality learning opportunities to each and every student throughout the district.

Using a combination of 360 degree images, videos and explorable scenes, Class VR’s hardware and software has been designed to help raise engagement and increase knowledge retention for students of all ages, offering over 3,000 unique learning modules to enhance any curriculum.

Evidence shows how virtual reality can engage and extend the boundaries of teaching, and how VR can help students meet learning objectives.

The cost to fund ClassVR for 30 students is $17,000. KingSpry is generously kicking off our fundraising campaign with a $2,000 gift. Will you help our students discover, explore and experience unimaginable things?  Kindly donate today.

A contribution of any amount will bring us closer to launching a groundbreaking virtual reality pilot program and revolutionizing the way our students learn. And, virtual reality education provides students with experiences they wouldn’t otherwise have. With 50% of Wilson Area families qualifying as economically disadvantaged, your support will have an equitable and meaningful impact.
